TinoCare HomeCare Intake Process

Getting started with TinoCare HomeCare is simple and supportive. We make it easy for individuals and families to begin quality in-home care through the Indiana Medicaid Waiver Program, Private Insurance, or Private Pay options.

Step 1: Initial Inquiry
Contact us by phone, email, or online. Our intake coordinator gathers basic details about your care needs, location, and preferred services.

Step 2: Eligibility Confirmation
For Medicaid Waiver or Private Insurance clients, we verify eligibility and coverage. If you are not yet enrolled in the waiver program, we can guide you to your local Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for assistance.

Step 3: Assessment & Care Plan
A nurse or case manager assesses care needs and develops a personalized care plan that may include personal care, homemaking, or respite services.

Step 4: Service Agreement & Scheduling
Once approved, we finalize the service agreement, confirm the care schedule, and match each client with a qualified caregiver suited to their needs and preferences.

Step 5: Ongoing Support
We maintain open communication with clients, families, and case managers to ensure consistent, high-quality care. Services are regularly reviewed and adjusted as needs change.

Private Pay & Insurance Clients
For Private Pay clients, the first week of services is due upfront before care begins to secure your caregiver and confirm your start date.
For Private Insurance clients, services are billed according to your plan’s coverage and authorization.
